Who we are

MODA Designer runs fashion events and an online shop for emerging designers. This site (modadesigner.live, including the MODA Shop) is operated by Love Shy Art Club Pty Ltd. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. When we say “we”, “us” or “MODA”, that’s who we mean.

What we collect

  • Shop orders — your name, email, shipping address and what you bought. Card details never touch our servers: payment is processed by Stripe.
  • Interest registrations — name and email when you register interest in a made-to-order piece.
  • Forms and newsletter — whatever you give us when you contact us, join the Inner Circle, or submit through a connect form.
  • Designer submissions — contact details, product information and photos submitted for the shop.
  • Event tickets — sold through Humanitix under their privacy policy; we receive attendee details needed to run the event.
  • Technical data — standard hosting and analytics information about how the site is used.

How we use it

To fulfil your order, respond to you, run our events, send you what you signed up for, improve the site, and meet our legal obligations. We only send marketing if you opted in, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

  • The designer who ships your piece.Every MODA Shop piece is shipped directly by its designer, so we pass them your name, shipping address and contact details for that order — that’s it, and only for fulfilment.
  • Service providers we use to run the site: Stripe (payments), Supabase (data hosting), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (site hosting), Google Workspace and Humanitix (ticketing). Each holds data under its own security and privacy terms.
  • Authorities, if the law requires it.

We never sell your personal information.

Storage and security

Your information is stored with the reputable providers above, with access limited to the people who need it to do their jobs. We keep it only as long as it’s needed for the purposes above or as the law requires.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it — email hello@modadesigner.live. If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first and we’ll work it through with you; if you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Changes

We’ll update this policy as the business grows and post the current version here, with the effective date above.
