Sleight of Hand (SOH)

Sleight of Hand (SOH)

SOH Designed by Daisy-Rose – a circular concept of renewal via handmade culture. Innovating the modern, Daisy-Rose conceives each silhouette in the minimalism of city life and merges primeval bushland with ornamental hand-dyeing & felting. Her label SOH (Sleight of Hand) reveals the variation of colour, texture and patterning innate to natural processes in her unconventional applications of dead-stock. In this way, Daisy-Rose refines the possibility of sustainable practices in contemporary fashion. Her work is symbolic of the shifting connection between people, culture, and our changing environments. Through material and process, SOH instills an essential, timeless nature into each piece which commercial fashion has forgotten. –

Meet the Designer

Daisy-Rose Cooper is a cross-disciplinary designer from the Blue Mountains, Australia. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Fashion Design and Textiles, and has launched her 2025 graduate project under the label Sleight of Hand (SOH) during AFW for ‘The Innovators’ 2025 TAFE NSW Runway. She offers conceptual, ready-to-wear designs, made to order in Sydney Australia. Since her official launch in May 2025, The labels participation in Bitgoeul Fashion Week 2025 in Gwangju, South Korea marked an exciting milestone, showcasing her contemporary craft and a sustainable perspective on a global stage. Daisy-Rose was one of four nominees for ELLE Australia’s 2025 ‘Next Gen’ Awards in the Fashion Designer category, featured in VOGUE Australia’s 2025 Vanguard Issue ‘Class of the Future’, Harper’s Bazaar, Sydney Morning Herald, The Guardian, Grazia, Blue Mountains Gazette, ELLE Magazine, WGSN and independent publications Alice.D, DRAFT, It’s Interval and MOB Journal, amongst others. Alongside her commission based design work, Daisy-Rose now co-hosts youth-lead sustainable textile workshops in 2026 with Jo Gambale under 'SLOGUE', working with local councils and high-schools across NSW, where 'Gen Alphas + teens experiment on would-be textile waste, developing basic sewing skills and an understanding of fashion as something we do, not just buy.' This allows the development of her creative practice and an opportunity to inspire others to join a much bigger movement towards a circular TCF industry.
