A blissful opening that set the stage perfectly. TIISHA delivered a clean, dark, and moody soundscape — blending bass, tribal undertones, and dub textures with sparks of emotional resonance.
Her energy infected the room, raising vibrations and creating the perfect foundation for what was to come.
Collaborating with PHACOSTE, TIISHA’s selection paralleled the collection’s journey through memory, layering, and transformation — cool, collected, and deeply felt.
Since migrating from Perth to Australia’s East Coast, TIISHA has been embraced by the local scene with open arms. Rooted in a lifelong connection to dance and movement, she possesses an innate understanding of rhythm and what it takes to move a crowd.
Her love affair with bass music and off-kilter rhythms began through Perth’s vibrant drum’n’bass scene — a foundation that continues to shape her distinct sound today. Drawing inspiration from her Burmese–Portuguese heritage, TIISHA has developed a versatile, mature, and instantly recognisable sonic signature that blends groove, grit, and soul.
TIISHA’s rise has been fast and intentional — hosting her own club nights at iconic Sydney venues, and sharing stages with local and international acts including Patrick Topping [UK], Sepehr [US], Cousin, Julian Hamilton (The Presets), Fanatico Records, Moral Laxa, Kuta [FBI Radio], Lustwell [Ultra Records], and at the official RÜFÜS DU SOL album launch afterparty.
You can find TIISHA lighting up Sydney’s party circuit, brand events, and stages as a resident for SLM Archive. Earlier this year she headlined Chinese Laundry for the first time — and her return is already in motion.
The future is bright for this rising force.
