Starting on a clean slate after REAL PARENT X THE INJURY’s audio-visual presentation, GUMM re-engages the crowd with his signature progressive electronic sound, firing up the dancefloor for three runway presentations.
A groovy, disco-laced sound carries GIOVANNA DE PONTES’ Tropicália presentation of illustrious tailored suits before refocusing the energy.
For GEMDADDYSLIM, GUMM mixes into bubbly lo-fi textures, creating the perfect mood for Gemma’s dramatic models.
Gumm then revs the gears for GRAVEY LANE—raw energy, industrial flavours, and long moments of breath that leave nothing on the table by the end.
From the dancefloors of Melbourne/Naarm to festival stages around the country, Gumm has carved out a space as one of Australia's most compelling DJ/producers. Starting out in grassroots event promotion, he's now a regular fixture at the nation’s most exciting festivals and club nights, known for sets that are both finely tuned and full of feeling. His latest EP, Don't DJ, released on Berlin’s TAU label (run by the Adana Twins), featuring a striking remix from Sam Shure and captures the energy and evolution of his sound. It follows a string of releases on respected labels including Amsterdam’s Bordello A Parigi, Curses’ Ombra International, and Berlin’s Midnight Operators, each showcasing his distinct mix of house, indie, and melodic influences. With fresh projects in motion, Gumm continues to push his sound forward—balancing rhythm, texture and emotion with a clear creative voice. Offstage, Gumm remains deeply involved in Naarm’s music community. He works with leading events company Novel, and runs his own event and mix series, Beautilism, platforming artists who share his vision for thoughtful, forward-thinking dance music.
